sundance film festival 2009 check-in

ok so maybe i was a little too rough on park city/sundance/etc. while i've been non-stop busy all day (checking in all staff and volunteers and giving out uniforms/jackets), it's been pretty interesting. by tomorrow end of day, i will have met pretty much 50% of all staff and volunteers (1500 volunteers alone), which is pretty cool. furthermore, the festival actual begins in a few days, and i suspect that's when things get interesting. right now i'm just immensely stressed because everyone is just arriving, all is chaos, everyone is settling in.

also, hey lj friends? can i be needy for a little bit while i'm so far away from home and comforts and just ask for constant dialogue? i will be reading journals too, of course, but sometimes it's nice to take a break between hours of craziness and anonymity and just have...words from friends. thanks.
