i'm alone with your ghost

i'm finally starting to get pictures organized--we'll work our way back.
pictures in this post relate to this journal entry, about going to st. augustine and staying in the "haunted" st. francis inn/lily's room.

i tend to believe about 60% of "orbs" in pictures are actually something funky with lighting/flash/dust particles, but the other 40% i like to hold out belief in the supernatural. notice there are quite a few, but not an overwhelming amount, of orbs in these images. i was slightly disappointed to not have a more "ghostly" experience staying there, but beggers can't be choosers...




i think the orb is pretty strong in this one [look on the bookshelf, top shelf]. i'm most skeptical of orbs that appear by windows or lights, but this guy seems pretty independent.



this one i'd like some other thoughts on. check out the bottom-right of the tv--there's something white appearing there, but it doesn't coincide with anything in the room [should be in front of the bed--the bed is visible in the screen's reflection--but there is nothing there]. also, a strange, but probably coincidental image of a dog [i see] on the side of the television [must be a warped reflection of the flowers/etc?]. i think i'm reaching.

regretfully, photobucket has sized-down my originals, even though i didn't. so these aren't as big as i'd hoped. [ON THAT NOTE does anyone have any other free photo-sharing/linking sites they recommend?]

It's really hard to verify a true orb b/c 99% are just dust, moisture in the air,refracted light or other things of that nature. I have tons of orb pictures and they're likely all bogus. lol I have some pictures that are pretty strange though.

What a beautiful place, the first two pictures reminded me of the 'Pirates of the Carribean' movie.

In the last picture, I was thinking that the white triangular shape looks like it could be reflected from the corner of the dresser in front of the TV; but then again, I wasn't there (wish I was though).

Of course, we have our own little haunted place, or so it seems. Cupboards opening and closing all night, strange sounds that even the cat seems to hear, stuff falling off shelves for no apparent reason, clocks not working properly, and a lamp not only plugged itself in but turned itself on too, while my daughter and I were away in California (this didn't happen until midway through our trip, so it wasn't left on my mistake). And orbs also like to take the spotlight in my pis, which is not good for auctioning black clothing (lol).

Orb pics are hard to verify, but it's definitely intersting to think about. I would pee my pants to go near Lily's Room. I am such a wuss.
