i also forgot to mention, that i swear-to-god i saw this guy saturday night at room3nine:

but the ridiculous thing is, he was dressed like a stereotype/mark cohen [white buttondown shirt, sweater overtop, wireframed glasses.]
would an actor really do that? the only logic in answering yes is that it's FL: two long-sleeved layers is insanity, unless you're selling something.

i should've said something to him.
i am beyond excited to see this.

You're not the only one anxious and excited about that movie.
I was just thinking about it the other night.
After the DVD is released, we can have "RENT" on Demand.
All we can have now is the soundtrack, which is good, but sometimes you just need more "RENT" than the soundtrack will allow.

This made so much more sense in my head at 3:30 in the morning.

i was thinking that, too.
but i was also thinking that it could ruin it for me, if it's not done well...for instance, i never saw chicago live, but the movie was awful [to me; it had good points but i overall didn't care for it].

it's also christopher columbus, which is unsettling.
he's not nearly as "edgy" as i would've hoped for. but anyway.
we'll see soon enough!

True, true. Chris Columbus and the fact that it only got a PG-13 rating does not make me feel good.

I could have SWORE it got an "R" rating, but wanted to double check, so I went to the site and there it was. PG-13.

Crap. It needed to be an R, forgoodnesssake.

i just checked, too, b/c my argument was going to be that sin city was PG13, but it wasn't. i could've sworn...

anyway, i guess [with a PG13 rating] there goes:
*same sex kissing [?]
*graphic drug use
*the sex-song [hot, hot, hot, hot heat]

and countless other parts, that will be i guess modified? like lyrics...hmrmmmmm not feeling so hot about this.

I think I'm going to have to break out the soundtrack just to cheer myself up.
Or dig the hole deeper, imagining what could have been.

Of course, I'll still be there opening weekend, but that's beside the point.
