chouchoota week's worth of noteworthy friend moments:

v0rtex & co, which included my introduction to two new favorites, peep show and the brass eye.
-whiskeyson spoiling me with an absolutely fantastic dinner, with leftovers for days. records and books are hardly sufficient payment for such a happy belly.
-the highly anticipated lord of the rings trilogy marathon withcoffeefortwo & co, featuring delicious food, plot clarification, fast-forwarding, and quintessential commentary. in 6.5 hours we got through several courses of food, 2 bottles of wine, and all 12 hours of the extended versions of the films.
