okay, how come when i first heard belle & sebastian, i downright loathed them, and today it's all i can listen to? they're so good! what the hell was wrong with me in 1999?

also, pwowsemaster: your new shirt has inspired me to deem next week the start of our "non-dumpy" renaissance. let's do it.

Weird, way back when I first heard them I absolutely loved them. They were my fav for a couple of years straight. They're actually the band that got me into Twee pop. Then the more I started listening to twee, the less I listened to B&S. They make me ill to my stomach now. Well, I can still listen to some of the EP's...but still. We won't even talk about their newer albums. 3...6...9...Seconds of Light will always hold a soft spot with me, though.
